Waynesboro is a great Fall get-away and our timing was great for amazing foliage. We visited the Zeus theatre to watch the opening weekend of Thor - worth seeing. So, tubing into our stay, our room seemed cleaned, but smelled like vomit had been cleaned up before our arrival. My husband thought the cleaning product may have been “Lysol-as*” because it didn’t seem like a real cleaning smell. We bought a scented candle at Target and tried to ignore because the hotel was overbooked that night. Did I mention that the foliage was amazing? And, there was a near constant barking dog in a nearby room, so while we love pets, we would have preferred some type of silencer for hotel guests. The staff at the hotel are A+++ and the complimentary breakfast was a solid A for a free breakfast. So, that’s my review and I’ll conclude by saying that I would go back.
My boyfriend and I stayed on Saturday night October 21st. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. After sleeping through the night we realized that morning that the curtains didn't close completely. Waking up the sun was shining directly in my face and I couldn't go back to sleep. it was very disturbing that the curtains don't close completely in the rooms
Decent stay and breakfast... spacious and very clean rooms.. tidy restroom... lots of food options nearby.. 10 min from blue ridge and skyline drive
This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this hotel. The location is great to explore the Parkway, Skyline Drive, Charlottesville and Staunton. The rooms are clean and updated. Heat and air may be a bit noisy and outdated but nothing you can't stand. I recommend this hotel and will return next year for our anniversary again.
Cute, new, friendly place. Leaps and bounds better than another spot across the street for only a tad more money. Happy! Small workout room. Outdoor pool.
