This gym, the staff, and especially owners Lindsay and Wayne have easily become one of the best parts of my day! The feeling of community they cultivate while also pushing me to continue reaching for my fitness goals is nothing I've found in a gym before. I highly recommend both the gym and their personal training & nutrition programs to anyone even considering joining a gym!
I really enjoyed my time at Shenandoah Powerhouse while I was in town. Great facilities and super clean. Very inspiring folks to work up a sweat around! Looking forward to going back when I'm next in town!
I was traveling for work and worked out here for $25 for the week. Anyone who travels for work knows how hard it is to find a nice reasonable place to workout. Very clean and well put together, good equipment and great people. Wayne the owner seems like he's always there handling things. Hope to travel for work here again just so I can workout here. Lol.

I've been a member since 2010 and this is the best gym that I have ever joined. The staff is amazing. It's like family. I just love Shenandoah Powerhouse!!!!!
A clean, nice facility and good selection of equipment! Friendly staff and owner. They play energetic music to workout to. However, initial sign-up and monthly dues are more expensive than Planet Fitness and Anytime Fitness, both a block down the road. As a traditional "gym" it attracts more body-builders and weight-lifters, but there is a mix of people that go here. Great little place, but if you are an "average joe" looking to stay fit, a less intimidating environment, and less expensive facility, I would suggest Planet Fitness or Anytime Fitness.
