It is a power recliner and it stopped working @ 2 months ago. To have service guy come out would probably cost at $100.00 or more. The other problem I have is I applied for credit thought it would be no problem I had just purchased a new 2016 Honda Accord. Grand denied me credit but steered me to a third party lender they have in store. The chair was priced @$699.00. I went to pay this off 2 months after purchase and the price was now $1,000 dollars to pay it off! Beware do not go with that credit department like a subprime mortgage. I’ll go back to Schwels next purchase.
The first salesman that helped us was very nice. When we decided to come back to purchase, he was not there that day, so a very sweet young lady helped us. We went back to pick up a chair, he was there and acted annoyed that he was having to share his commission with someone else. Come on, be a team player. The lovely lady that actually sold the furniture to us, even sent us a thank you note! Not sure we'd go back for additional needs.
Large selection of furniture and bedding at normal prices. Greeted with a soft drink or water at the door. Some of the sales staff are a bit annoying as they follow you around too much even when you tell them you will ask for help when you need it.
Huge new store. Super friendly staff. REALLY nice merchandise.
Bought a Southern Motion chair @ 2 years ago from this place. I read several bad reviews of this furniture but saleswoman said she sells a lot of this brand of furniture. I had a lazy boy which lasted @ 25 years was great chair the one I bought from Grand awful.
Having moved to the valley recently, wee needed to buy a few items for our home - sofa, love seat, bedroom set, mattress and box spring. The Grand store in Waynesboro has a nice sized showroom, not too overwhelmingly big but not small so as to limit the selection. Our salesman was helpful and had a good touch - helping us when needed but also giving us time to think without pressure. Once we made all our selections, we ran another errand while he finalized the order. We then completed the transaction. We are still awaiting delivery (we had some factory orders to get the upholstery we wanted), and are looking forward go getting our new items.
