Silk Road offers an extensive and diverse, asian cuisine inspired menu. The food was very good, with large portions at a moderate price. Yet, the service I received was horrible.
Great food. Sometimes great service sometimes not. A bit expensive compared to similar entrees at sushi place in Staunton.
Staying at the hotel across the street, has to be the best food I've yet to have here. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and Thai green chicken curry. The tuna roll was well prepared. The curry was perfectly tender and seasoned although a little on the mild side.
Food is very good but they have a high turnover in serving staff which is a problem because when everyone is "new" customer service suffers. My advise, work with your staff, dont give up on them and dont fire them unless you have no other choice! If you have a manager who is running them off and your servers are quiting, maybe the manager needs to be let go!
Great spot for just traveling through. We were prepared to just grab fast food when we discovered this hidden gem. It was classy, delicious, and fast. We were in and out in 20 minutes but wished we could linger longer in magically decorated dining room filled with sweet and tangy smells and the sound of live music. Next time we pass through we're definitely stopping here again!
