Pricing is very reasonable, and all staff have been friendly and welcoming.
They don't even ask you they just mow it. By the time you realize what they have done, well its too late.
I live in Charlottesville, VA and travel over every two or three months to see Ashley and always make an appointment prior to coming in. Even though they offer walk-ins, this salon is normally busy and you could sit awhile if you don't call ahead.
Great experience here!! We just moved to the area and my husband and I both have gotten cuts here! Ashley Hite is absolutely awesome! Everyone is sweet and welcoming. This is definitely our new salon!!
I am just going to stick with the Staunton Mall, at least they have some common sense . Either these people fresh out got of the hair cuttering school or they just have no idea what a professional hair should look like.
This place is even worst than the one in lucy ln. Wonder how they get all those 3 star reviews. I am begining to believe they are fake reviews.
Though sometimes the visits tend to take awhile, I know it's because getting your hair dyed and/or highlighted isn't a super fast process anyway. If you want something done right, don't rush it, nor wait until the last minute to do it.
Why are they so dumb? You can see that the owner has to apologise and patche things up here. Why do that. Hire good people do a veter than average job and you will get good reviews. In today's world an above average service will get an encomium.
I used to get my hair cut here all the time. It was decent and I usually could get in quickly. This last two times visiting the wait time was excessive. One evening the wait time was over an hour. And just today I went in at 11 AM thinking it would be quiet and it was. But the wait time was a half hour and at the end of the half hour there still wasn't a stylist available. Even though two were busy I swear I saw a third in the back. My bad for not making an appointment I suppose.

Can't even put into words how bad my hair looks... should have shaved my head to make it look better than an egg head... wanted highlights.. my fault going with stylest suggested all over blonde... roots are lighter than ends ...then I get asked what do. You want me to do to fix it..... I've done this hair cut a hundred times... really???? Horrible
Another sad place to have your hair cut. Wow, i cannot describe it. Need a hair cut for a job interview tomorrow. Received a discount coupon, so thought i could save a few dollars.
This location is still fairly new to the area since the Lucy Lane location had been the main Hair Cuttery of Waynesboro for a long time. Some of the staff from the Lucy Lane location came to this new salon, making it a more seamless transition and opening, rather than having all new staff. The salon is clean, new and updated, and has big windows to let in a lot of natural light. This is a great aspect to a salon so you can see what your hair will really look like when you leave the salon, rather than dim or unnatural lighting like some other salons in the area.
In order to be clear with your stylist on what you want done, I always supply a picture or two so they can visually see what I'm describing. I don't know hair lingo, so a picture has always helped make sure that I get what I want out of the appointment. Either I have a picture saved to my phone to show, or I take a second and look through some of the salon's books or magazines.
